Haosen Yang

I'm a Ph.D. student at the People-Centred AI Institute (PAI) and the Centre for Vision, Speech, and Signal Processing (CVSSP) at the University of Surrey. I conduct research within the Universal Perception Lab (UP) under the supervision of Dr. Xiatian Zhu.

My research interests primarily lie in Human-Centric Spatial Intelligence. My goal is to assist humans in understanding, digitizing, and manipulating the physical world while seamlessly bridging reality with the metaverse to enhance everyday interactions.

I expect to complete my PhD by the end of this year and am actively seeking postdoctoral or full-time research scientist positions in the areas of 3D/4D reconstruction and generative AI. If you are interested in collaborating or know of relevant opportunities, I would be glad to connect!
